Every woman has natural strengths and abilities that she relies on. However, I want to share with you some magnificent strengths that do not depend on natural abilities alone.

But first you must recognize where those magnificent strengths come from. They come from the Lord!

10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. 11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.” Ephesians 6:10, 11

BE STRONG IN THE LORD! BE STRONG IN JESUS!

You see as Christians, you and I have a well of living water to draw upon. This is where every born again woman’s strength, grace, and ability lies.

If your fellowship with Jesus remains strong, your born again spirit has a supply, a fountain of living water that you draw upon daily. It makes you stronger than what your natural abilities allow you to do or be. It will give you the ability to produce and do things you could not do otherwise. The result of daily time in your Bible and prayer is that you remain strong in Jesus.

10 Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water. 11 The woman saith unto him, Sir, thou hast nothing to draw with, and the well is deep: from whence then hast thou that living water?” John 4:10, 11

IT IS WITHIN YOU!

Your inner man is where that living water comes from, and it will produce within you the supply of energy, strength and ability you need to live strong in every area of your life. Your life is found in Christ! So be strong and well able in Jesus! When you remain strong in Jesus, inability to produce, insufficiency and lack will become a thing of the past!

“That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;” Ephesians 3:16

Your natural abilities and strengths have limitations and will only take you so far. This reminds me of the “I can’t believe it’s not butter!” commercials! Remember the one that portrayed the angry Mother Nature, because she got duped into believing the margarine she tasted was not butter? To me the limitations of your natural abilities look a bit like Mother Nature in that commercial. She is as lovely as a sunny day, while the birds are singing and everything is glorious. However, if someone pushes her buttons wrong, she changes suddenly! The sky quickly darkens, lightening strikes, and she will most definitely cloud up and rain on your parade! Her natural bent toward cheer and goodwill was not enough to stand against the wiles of the devil.

However, if you remain steadfast and steady as the day is long, and continue reaching for and drawing up from within the fullness of supply that God has promised you, you become a well and a refreshing supply of living water to strengthen others.

THEY PRODUCE!

These strengths are magnificent because of there producing effect. They provide supernaturally and cause you to be well able to accomplish, even when your natural ability is lacking! They are magnificent, because they make you a useful tool in the hands of the Almighty God to be used for His Kingdom purpose.

Sarah was able to draw out a trusting strength as a result of waiting before God. Psalm 46:10 says, “Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.” It produced an unwavering belief that God would move on her behalf. And He did! See 1 Peter 3:3–6.

Abigail drew upon the wisdom strength of God to deliver herself and protect her entire household from bloodshed and calamity. See 1 Samuel 25:17-27.

Esther knew that only favor with the Almighty would give her access to much needed wisdom to change the fate of an entire nation of people. She knew favor with the King of kings would give her favor with her husband, the King Ahasuerus. (See Esther 4:14–16.)

MAGNIFICENT!

As you can see, these magnificent strengths are priceless! They are so valuable that their value cannot be determined by mere monetary gain or profit! These strengths give you access to things of such great worth that money just cannot buy!

As a woman of God, you are not dependant on your own natural abilities to put you over. You have the magnificent strengths and abilities of Jesus that are ever available to you and me!
