The Bible tells us of a man named Eli, a man to whom God entrusted an enormous amount of responsibility and influence. He was the father of two sons, he was the High Priest, and he functioned as the Judge or ruler of Israel just before the age of the kings. However, Eli failed miserably at all three of these, and his failures came at an extreme cost to his family, to the House of God, and to his nation.
What a sad commentary of a man to whom the Lord had bestowed so much. Yet sadder still is the fact that the spirit of Eli is operating unabated in Christian homes, in local churches, and among some of the most widely known ministers of our day. And the results are just as catastrophic.
This book deals with serious issues that apply to every Christian, along with straight shooting commentary about the destruction being caused when the spirit of Eli operates in homes and churches and among Kingdom leaders. Every believer needs to know what is contained in this book. At least they do if we don’t want to lose this generation and the generations to come to the kingdom of darkness.
