[x_custom_headline type=”left” level=”h4″ looks_like=”h4″]Not one single time has anything God ever promised in His Word failed to come to pass. Not one single time![/x_custom_headline]
And why is that? Because God cannot lie. He does everything He says He will do. You can trust Him! You can trust Him with your marriage and family. You can trust Him with your future. And you can trust that anything and everything that He said He would do in His Word, will surely come to pass.
In fact, if you say you trust the Lord, then you have to trust His Word, and believe absolutely everything He promised. Because Almighty God is faithful to fulfill His Word, for those who are faithful to believe it.
[x_blockquote cite=”1 Kings 8:56 KJV” type=”left”]“Blessed be the Lord, that hath given rest unto his people Israel, according to all that he promised: there hath not failed one word of all his good promise, which he promised by the hand of Moses his servant.”[/x_blockquote]
If you aren’t totally convinced that God’s Word can be relied upon, and that He is personally watching over His Word to make sure it comes to pass in your life (see Jeremiah 1:12), then it will be impossible for you to develop strong faith, and be pleasing to God.
There is nothing so wonderful as releasing your faith in the unfailing promises of God, and experiencing the manifestation of what God promised coming to pass in your life. If you a putting your faith in God’s promises, He will not let you fail!
There is absolutely no force strong enough to nullify God’s Word! You can trust God’s Word every time, in every situation. Even though everything else will fall apart, crumble and come to an end, the Word of God will stand forever (see Isaiah 40:8).
And according to Isaiah 55:10-11, we find that God’s Word never returns to Him empty, but that it always produces exactly what it is designed to produce.
God’s Word always accomplishes what it was sent out to do. And His Word always prospers where it was sent. In fact, God’s Word contains within itself the power to create whatever it says it will do!
However, you will never receive from God until you learn just how trustworthy His Word really is. In fact, when you are reading the Bible and you find His promises there, you discover what God is eager to do for you, and what He wants to bring to pass in your life. As an example of this, take a look at these verses from the book of 2 Peter:
[x_blockquote cite=”2 Peter 1:3-4 KJV” type=”left”]“3 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: 4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.”[/x_blockquote]
The word “precious” in this passage means something that is very costly, or of a high or great value. So we must remember that these promises are the results of Jesus shedding His Blood, and giving his life for us. And anything that is that costly, God will see to it that it comes to pass.
In the Bible we see that the children of Israel were so preoccupied with how big the giants in the land were, that they forgot how big their God was. And instead of feeding on the promise of God that He had already given them the land, they chose instead to focus on the problems and obstacles. Sadly, this is exactly what many Christians do as well.
The reason so many people have more trust and confidence in the word of their enemy, is because they spend so much time listening to it, and focusing on it. So stop doing that immediately. Instead, put your focus on the Word of the Lord, and place your trust in Him. He will do exactly what He said He would do, because He always keeps His Word.
